Throughout her career as a litigation attorney, Louiza has had the pleasure and privilege of representing the interests of people against giant corporations and insurance companies. Her range of experience includes complex medical device litigation, multi-party construction litigation, class actions, high-stake settlement negotiations, and jury trials. Louiza’s approach to litigation is unique to every case. She has successfully used a variety of individualized litigation strategies to obtain high recoveries for her clients.

Louiza has a passion for representing clients in cases involving injuries related to cosmetic procedures and products. But, she has also successfully represented clients in an array of injury cases including taxi, auto, and truck accidents, theme park and attractions accidents, product liability, property damage, and insurance disputes. Louiza is a versatile and adaptive advocate whose priority is the individualized needs of her clients.

In 2020, she filed a putative class action lawsuit against the manufacturer of the CoolSculpting medical device relating to the cosmetic procedure’s serious and permanent adverse effect Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia. Louiza continues to help client affected by this devastating condition. 

In 2023, Louiza partnered with top class action attorneys to file a putative class action lawsuit in federal court in California against the manufacturer of Revitalash eyelash conditioner containing a potent synthetic prostaglandin.

Louiza Tarassova was born in Stavropol, Russia. When she was eight years old her family moved to the United States and worked tirelessly to establish their new life in a foreign country. Growing up in an immigrant family, Louiza learned the importance of hard work and the rewards a person’s efforts can yield. 

Louiza decided to become a lawyer after taking a Legal Studies course in college where she first learned about the legal justice system and the impact a knowledgeable attorney can have on society. 

After law school, she was determined to use her passion for advocacy to help people. She opened her own law firm with the intention to provide honest and effective legal representation. Having her own firm allowed Louiza to practice law without compromises and gave her the ability to achieve great accomplishments in a short amount of time. “I was not limited by anyone else’s past experiences or beliefs of how law should be practiced, I had the freedom to be as creative as I wanted in advocating for my clients,” explains Louiza Tarassova.

When she is not practicing law and advocating for her clients, Louiza spends time with her husband and their beautiful German Shepherd named Zoe. She loves to travel the world, meditate, read, and simply enjoy life.
